Live Well Omaha Kids: Greatest Hits 3

by Staff, Douglas County Health Department

Each year, Live Well Omaha Kids (LWOK), a community collaboration led by Live Well Omaha and Alegent Health, publishes a report on the impact of their programs on our community’s fight against childhood obesity. Year three’s report, recently released, shows encouraging accomplishments — an indication that the group’s plan is taking them — and us — in the right direction. Greater community recognition has also helped to establish promising new partnerships for LWOK, strengthening momentum towards halting the rise in childhood obesity and working towards reversing this trend.

Learn more about LWOK’s initiatives, including 5-4-3-2-1 Go!, breastfeeding support, school wellness networks, Walking School Bus and Ready for Recess by downloading Greatest Hits 3 or by contacting Diane Roberts at
